Anita Mäkelä takes the win in Top Fuel Dragster with a stunning 3.877-second run. The first elimination race between Michael Kågered and Patrik Pers ended in what seems to be the slowest Top Fuel race, as both struggled at the start, parachutes came out and both rolled down on momentum to the finish line. Michael cars stopped just before the finish and Patrik takes the win with a 22.534 second at 33 km/u. probably not the way Patrik would have wanted, but a win is a win.
The number one and second qualifier meet each other in the final race! Antti Horto wins with a 3.952 from Liam Jones in the quarterfinal and had a single run in the semi-final. Anita, on the other hand, run a four-second race (4.748 sec) against Stefan Gunnarsson and a low four (4.004 sec) against Patrik Pers.
